The Full Story
Who We Are
Jon and Ramsey Champagne founded Lyon Champagne Consulting with a shared conviction: the how is as important as the what. Based in Fayetteville, Arkansas, they partner with organizations locally and nationally to cultivate cultures where curiosity, participation, and meaningful contribution can flourish.

Ramsey
Ramsey brings a rare depth of perspective to organizational culture work — one shaped by years of practice across creative writing, nonprofit administration, trauma-informed care, education, counseling, and hospitality. What might look like a winding professional path is, in fact, an extraordinarily coherent one: every thread has sharpened her attunement to the human dynamics that determine whether organizations thrive or struggle.
Ramsey holds a Master of Education from the Harvard Graduate School of Education, where she deepened her understanding of learning, leadership, and systems-level culture change. A Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), she has worked across public, private, and charter K-12 schools, nonprofit organizations, and higher education institutions. She has served as a Capstone Coach at the University of Vermont's Masters of Leadership for Sustainability program and has held academic affiliations focused on leadership development and culture creation — bringing scholarly grounding to her consulting practice and a practitioner's fluency to her teaching.
Ramsey's background in nonprofit administration gave her an early, systems-level view of organizational health — what it looks like when an organization is positioned to flourish, and what structural and cultural factors quietly undermine it. Her training in counseling, trauma-studies, and somatic practices deepened her capacity to read what is spoken and unspoken in a room, to hold space for discomfort as a site of growth, and to show up with the regulated, generous presence that meaningful organizational work requires. Her years in education and hospitality grounded her in the principles of genuine service, attentive welcome, and the belief that every stakeholder deserves to feel seen and able to contribute their best.
At Lyon Champagne Consulting, Ramsey's work centers on helping organizations examine and align their values, norms, and vision — not as abstract ideals, but as lived practices that shape how people show up every day. She believes that when leaders and teams feel grounded in a clear and shared mission, they are more likely to take creative risks, engage deeply, and bring their full capacity to the work. She is particularly skilled at surfacing the implicit dynamics — the power structures, relational patterns, and communication norms — that either support or constrain an organization's culture.
Ramsey works with startups, established organizations, and leadership teams across a range of industries, offering facilitated workshops, organizational assessments, culture alignment consulting, strategic planning, and leadership coaching. She serves clients in Northwest Arkansas and beyond, in person and online.
Jon
Jon brings a background forged in high-stakes clinical environments, systems-level healthcare leadership, and a sustained commitment to developing the next generation of practitioners. As a Physician Assistant with experience on the inpatient neurosurgery team at Brigham and Women's Hospital and as a National Research Coordinator supporting veterans' healthcare, Jon has spent his career operating in environments where clear communication, team cohesion, and role clarity are not aspirational — they are essential.
Jon's leadership within the VA system earned him recognition as the National VA Physician Assistant of the Year, and he served as Chair of the Boston VA Medical Center PA Council — roles that required him to think not just as a clinician, but as an organizational leader navigating complex institutional systems and advocating for the people within them. His fellowship in the MIT Catalyst Healthcare Innovation Program further expanded his perspective, equipping him with frameworks for translating organizational challenges into actionable, measurable strategies.
A certified Lean Six Sigma practitioner and PROSCI-certified Change Management professional, Jon brings structured methodology to the work of culture and organizational transformation. He understands that meaningful, lasting change requires more than vision — it demands disciplined process, clear metrics, and a change management approach that accounts for the human dimensions of transition.
Jon has also invested deeply in education and professional development. He has held adjunct and clinical faculty appointments at multiple universities and has served as a preceptor, mentoring emerging Physician Assistant students across academic institutions. That sustained commitment to learning and teaching shapes how he works with organizations: with patience for the process, belief in people's capacity to grow, and an eye toward building internal capability that outlasts any single engagement.
At Lyon Champagne Consulting, Jon works alongside leaders and teams to strengthen organizational foundations, develop strategic plans, navigate periods of change or crisis, and build the internal conditions that allow people and organizations to perform at their best. He brings both analytical precision and genuine investment in the people he serves.
